Official Higher Education Partner of the New Orleans Saints & Pelicans

The New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans each established an academic partnership with UL Lafayette in 2019.

The three-year collaborations provide UL Lafayette students and recent graduates with access to internships, practical career experiences and networking opportunities. The Saints and Pelicans also fund two annual scholarships at the University for qualified students.

Saints & Pelicans Career Services Events

At least once a semester, Career Services hosts hiring managers from both organizations on campus or virtually to speak with students and recent graduates about post-graduate careers in the sports industry.

Discussions will cover various departments within both organizations as well as roles, qualifications, and job duties for the associate and inside sales programs.  Participants receive job application advice, have their résumés reviewed and more during networking events in small groups or in one-on-one settings.
