Kimberly Billeaudeau

Amy Chauvin
Associate Director of Career Services

Ms. Amy joined UL Lafayette Career Services in 2008 and is responsible for overseeing employer relations, the on-campus interviewing program, and managing our website and online job search site. As the Associate Director, she also assists in coordinating events, preparing marketing materials, and giving class presentations. Ms. Amy served as the 2014-15 president of the Louisiana Association of Colleges and Employers, of which she has been an executive board member for four years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UL Lafayette and graduated with her MBA in December 2015.

Ms. Amy enjoys reading suspense novels and watching HBO & Netflix. Most weekends you can find her hydrating, feeding, and assisting the Mighty Lions Marching Band as an uber-dedicated high school band mom.

DeeDee McCoy
Associate Director of Employer Relations

Mrs. DeeDee joined UL Lafayette Career Services in January 2018 as Associate Director, Employer Relations.  In this role, she is responsible for establishing relationships with local, state and regional businesses for recruiting purposes. Her main focus is to ensure great companies recruit and hire UL Lafayette graduates!

Mrs. DeeDee graduated from UL Lafayette, then USL, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and her major was Personnel Management.  She has held various positions in the HR industry with a focus on recruiting and staffing. She also has prior healthcare marketing experience.  She is passionate about helping people land their dream job.

In her spare time, Mrs. DeeDee enjoys boating and outdoor activities with her family. She is an avid runner and enjoys participating in local races with friends.

Lauren Fontenot Landry
Associate Director of Major and Career Exploration

Mrs. Lauren joined UL Lafayette Career Services in 2015 but has been working at the University in various roles since 2007. As an Associate Director, she is responsible for overseeing the Major & Career Exploration Center which provides career assessments, major & career counseling and assistance to students with their career plans. Mrs. Lauren holds memberships in the Louisiana Counseling Association as well as the Louisiana College Counseling Association, Louisiana Career Development Association & the Louisiana Association of Colleges and Employers. While attending both Louisiana State University & the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counselor Education.

Mrs. Lauren enjoys family, friends, cooking & traveling. She is a doting parent of one son & enjoys celebrating the many milestones achieved by not only her son but the many students she works with.

Megan Sistrunk
Assistant Director, Experiential Education

Mrs. Megan joined UL Lafayette Career Services in April 2018 as Assistant Director, Experiential Education but has been with the University since 2015 in the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment as an Admissions Counselor. In her new Career Services role, she is responsible for assisting students and employers find and fill experiential learning opportunities such as internships, cooperative learning, and summer and part-time job opportunities. Mrs. Megan graduated from UL Lafayette in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Northwestern State University of Louisiana.

When Mrs. Megan isn’t studying she enjoys traveling, binge watching Netflix, attending Ragin’ Cajun athletic events, and going on adventures with her husband and golden retriever.

Karen Segura
Administrative Coordinator

Mrs. Karen joined the UL Office of Career Services as Administrative Coordinator in 2017, and is responsible for coordinating our on campus career fairs, managing online event registrations, billing and receivables, greeting our visitors and handling the behind-the-scenes organization of all things career fair related. She brings over 25 years of administrative experience in the accounting and oil & gas industries. A former psychology major and UL Lafayette, then USL, Sweetheart Dance Alum, Karen is excited to be working to connect UL Lafayette students with companies and career opportunities.

Mrs. Karen and her husband are blessed with 5 children and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys attending the kids’ activities and spending time with family. Mrs. Karen also loves to travel and book travel for others. A dance instructor by trade, she spends some of her free time teaching the art of dance.

Stephanie Reese
​Administrative Assistant

Ms. Stephanie is the first contact most visitors will have when calling or visiting the Office of Career Services. As the administrative assistant for the Office of Career Services and the Career & Major Exploration Center since early 2017, she manages all of the daily clerical needs of the office. Ms. Stephanie answers incoming calls, supervises student workers, and assists in the career testing lab. Ms. Stephanie is new to the UL Lafayette family and we are so happy to have her on staff.

Ms. Stephanie enjoys reading and watching anything on HGTV. On the weekends she enjoys relaxing and spending time with her family.

Macy Bennett
​Graduate Career Assistant

Macy is the new Graduate Career Assistant. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing (2018) and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration. Macy is in charge of reviewing resumes and advising students with their job search. She also assists the Career Services staff with Career Fairs, Part-Time Job Fairs, and other events.

Macy enjoyed going to the various Ragin’ Cajun sporting events so much, that she decided to become one of the marketing interns for Ragin’ Cajun Athletics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Samantha Trail
​Communications Graduate Assistant

Samantha is the new Communications Graduate Assistant in Career Services. She received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration. She is responsible for assisting with marketing and organizing career fairs, education interviewing days, special events, career services programs, and workshops.

Samantha enjoys traveling, teaching dancing, and binge watching multiple Netflix series, especially The Office.

Gabrielle Bowden
​Major & Career Counseling Graduate Assistant

Ms. Gabrielle is the Major and Career Exploration Graduate Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2017 and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Counselor Education specializing in School Counseling. She is responsible for assisting with career assessments and guiding students through major & career transitions and decisions.

Ms. Gabrielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. On the weekends, she spends her time teaching dancing and attending the Ragin' Cajun Baseball games.

Shannon Stoner
​Marketing Intern 

Shannon joined the Office of Career Services in the fall of 2014 as a student worker and is currently the Marketing Intern. She is a soon-to-be Alumni (December 2018) graduating with a degree in Visual Arts, and is a Disney College Program and Delta Delta Delta Alumni.  Shannon takes pride in helping to design and promote events taking place on and around campus.

Originally from Milwaukee Wisconsin, she enjoys immersing herself in Cajun culture as much as she can.  From the music, food and even the language, one of her biggest blessings is having the chance to learn about an incredible culture while making life-long friends along the way.  When she’s home in Wisconsin, Shannon loves to spend time with her family and friends, hang out by Lake Michigan and play with her two dogs Rocky and Odie.
