Need a quiet space for an interview? Book a Handshake appointment for the Office of Career Services Online Interviewing Rooms. This is the perfect place to use to complete your recorded or live interviews with an employer. Make sure you have your own log in credentials for whichever platform the employer specifies.
Our interview rooms located in Agnes Edwards Hall Room 104 provide phone and secure wi-fi access, and give you a quiet private space to speak without distraction. Rooms can be used to conduct phone or video job interviews, graduate school interviews, informational interviews with employers and alumni, etc. You may use your own phone and/or laptop if you choose; please note that cellular signal is very limited in our building and ‘wi-fi calling’ should be enabled on your device prior to your meeting to ensure connectivity. We will provide the phone number in the room upon confirmation.
Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m.– 12:00 p.m., except holidays and school closings.
- Requests for an interview room must be placed a minimum of one business day in advance of the needed time.
- If the request is placed less than one business day in advance, the request may not filled.
- During peak employer recruiting seasons (Late Sept – Oct), there may be lower availability due to employer interviews.
- You MUST receive an email confirmation for your request. Until you receive confirmation, the room is NOT reserved.
