Faculty and Staff Career Closet Donation Event

Thursday, August 31, 2017 - 7:30am to Friday, September 1, 2017 - 12:30pm

The Career Closet provides UL Lafayette students with free, gently-used professional clothing for interviews, career fairs, and professional networking events.  The goal of this program is to offer students in need of professional attire with clothing options that will allow them to make a positive first impression on potential employers.

Donation Events

  • Thursday, Aug. 31 from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 1 from 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 7 from7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 8 from 7:30 a.m. - Noon

Donation Items

 

Faculty and staff are encouraged to donate the following items:

  • Pant suits
  • Skirt suits
  • Blazers
  • Sports coats
  • Blouses
  • Dress shirts
  • Skirts
  • Slacks
  • Ties
  • Belts
  • Shoes
  • Hangers

Items of neutral colors (white, brown, black, grey, navy) and within current fashion trends are preferred.

Donation Drop-off

Clothing items may be dropped off at the Office of Career Services located in Agnes Edwards Hall (formerly the Conference Center), Room 104. If needed, donations can be picked up at departmental offices.
